Contacted by a recruiter who wanted to set up a first call. We met via Zoom and she seemed overwhelmed and distracted. In our conversation, she disclosed that she knows their benefits are not competitive, and confirmed no 401k match, then talked about other perks like various health and development stipends. We had a good conversation with a friendly rapport. She said she was going to refer me to the hiring manager for a conversation, but he was on vacation until late next week. She said they wanted to move quickly though. I followed up the next day with my thanks and a few additional questions and she replied. I followed up again at the end of the next week to confirm my continuing interest. I never heard anything back.
Recruiter screen was perfunctory, wooden and rushed. Perhaps this was a one-off, but the recruiter didn’t serve as a good ambassador for the company. I didn’t walk away feeling the culture would be appreciative of their employees. The market is so competitive these days. Perhaps Qlik thinks their brand is enough to attract candidates.

Entrevista
Interview was very straightforward and cordial. Interviewers seem genuinely interested and didn't ask ridiculous or contrived questions. It was an easygoing dialogue, not a high pressure or high stress situation at all.
