Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela Quantum-Si em jan. de 2025
Entrevista
Screening call with HR. Couldn't tell me anything about the position. Had a lot to say about company culture though and what a great job they were doing to develop it. Was told I'd hear back within a week but two weeks later got an email saying they decided to move ahead with another candidate.
Doesn't make sense to me to have HR gate-keep a position they can't even talk about. Wast of time. Red flag IMO.
1. Screening via a Team Meeting:
The initial screening process will be conducted through a team meeting. This meeting will provide an opportunity for both the candidate and the team to engage in a more detailed discussion, allowing the candidate to showcase their qualifications and fit for the position while gaining insights into the team's dynamics and expectations.
2. Phone Call with HR for a Behavioral Interview:
A subsequent step in the process involves a phone call with the Human Resources department. This call will focus on a behavioral interview, where the candidate will be asked to share examples of past experiences, challenges, and achievements to assess their alignment with the company's values and core competencies.
3. Panel Interview Will Come Later:
Following the initial screening and behavioral interview, a panel interview will be scheduled at a later stage. This interview will involve multiple interviewers, including members of the team and other stakeholders, to evaluate the candidate’s technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and overall fit within the organization from diverse perspectives.
45 minutes pair programming interview exclusively
The results of that exercise is used to benchmark problem solving abilities as well as code organization and style. There was no discussion of previous work experience, the interviewer admitted that the exercise is not representative of the job description. It was overall a poor benchmark mechanism for talent/fitment
