Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela Quay Appointments (Sydney) em dez. de 2022
Entrevista
It was a very short and straightforward interview (not sure if you could even call it that). They just verified my identity, proof of vaccination, and whether you are on the electoral roll.

Will you be working during the period of the contract?
typically consists of three stages: the phone interview, an assessment test, and the final interview. To even be chosen for the initial interview is a big deal, even if you do not get the job. The phone interview is the first step of the interview process

Minimal, they practically gave me the job when I arrived. Just conducted a few common sense questions to ensure I was mentally sound.
Looks like they were just working for commission, and simply cared about filling in positions for the government agency that was advertised, with no regard to quality of applicants.
They also gave me the incorrect starting date for the role (have email evidence) as they forgot to include the training days that were necessary when communicating to me. As I had booked a holiday to NZ with mates (Uni Holidays), I had to pay approx $1000 to change all of our itineraries, and Quay appointments accepted no responsibility, nor did they apologise or attempt to compensate me for their error, and just said that if I didn't make the training days I'd be fired.
For background, I had called multiple times beforehand while planning the trip and sent my itinerary to the agency to confirm that this trip would be fine and not clash with my start date in the role (they originally said Mid-Dec 2017, then clarified to the 11th, and I would be returning on the 9th) and said that it would be perfectly fine and to have a nice trip. They then called up about 2 weeks before the renewed start date (mind you, this was during the middle of my uni exam period) and said that I would have to make myself available on the 4th, and gave little regard to the fact that I had a trip planned. When I asked them and mentioned that I had double-checked with them only a few weeks earlier they tried to shift the blame to the government agency that I would be working for and that I shouldn't have booked the trip and hung up.
I'm still looking for an apology (possibly compensation) for their error. I never really followed it up (other than a rant at the time) as I was happy to just have secured a job at that time.
In all honesty the pay for the job was great for my age and the work was decent (although there were some characters) and the experience helped me get several jobs in future.
Jacqui Isted from Quay appointments should still remember me from what I've written if she ever wants to get in contact.
