The recruiter was quite lovely however I would recommend she/him stay neutral in their responses. They can give you significant hope and then ghost you shortly thereafter. I had a recruiter completely ghost me after asking me to stay in touch. You can't help but wonder if ageism is real.

There was no interview process. I spoke to the hiring manager, who ensured that an interview would be scheduled. 6 weeks passed before the hiring recruiter called, saying that no interviews would take place. According to the recruiter, the hiring manager made his decision prior to posting the job opening.
