I applied in August 2025 for a Junior C++ Developer position at Quod Financial and received a quick response from HR. During the first interview, I was rejected because I was still studying and unable to work full-time at that moment. A few months later, as I was close to graduation, I reached out again and was invited for another interview. The process included a discussion about my experience and relocation, followed by a detailed written C++ assessment covering topics such as multithreading and smart pointers. After completing the assignment, I waited nearly two weeks and sent follow-up emails, but did not receive any response regarding the result, so I don`t even know if I passed or not. Unfortunately, the lack of communication left a negative impression regarding the overall candidate experience.
