The interview was conducted over the phone. It was mostly good as the role itself seemed like a nice fit for me. However, the salary on the job description is actually false and this needs to be revisited. The amount that I was seeking was within the range. But, I was informed that the team has a range that differs than what is on the job description. If the team needs to be within a certain budget, they need to be honest about the salary. This is inexcusable and should never happen.
