Highly unprofessional. I applied online and was phone screened by a recruiter. I met the store manager and then store manager sent me an email to meet a person in the store. ( without giving me any information of who this person was). When I met this person I found out it was the other assistant manager ( same level as I was interviewing for. After one hour of speaking with her she asked me to meet another assistant manager. One of them even asked for my salary expectations. I felt this was really weird. At no stage any of the managers had seen my resume so they were clueless on my job history. Then the recruiter spoke called me up and said that my interviews were going really well and the store manager would like me to meet other assistant managers ( same position as I'm applying for)! and then never got back. They speak a lot about how people are so important and thats the core of what they do but certainly was not my experience with them. I had made arrangements to meet them at really short notices and they never reverted back after three in person interviews and several emails and phone calls back and forth.
I enjoyed speaking with several managers during my interview process. Most were kind and helpful. However, I was put through seven interviews and then had to reach out to find out they “went a different direction”. Each interview was on average an hour, two of which were in person. They were very quick to get in touch with me when I first applied and schedule all subsequent interviews. I found it odd that no one bothered reaching back out for two weeks after the last one to let me know they had decided against me. This is especially concerning due to the fact that one of their core values is that they “act fast”. As much as I appreciated their values list (whatever it’s called - they quote it constantly during every interview), it did seem a bit cultish like other people have mentioned. Very corporate world I could see some people doing well, and if you like that environment. It honestly sounded like I dodged a bullet because several managers said it was life consuming.
Months long process, I got the job but didn't stay. Should have taken all the warnings from past employees on this site more seriously. SM was great but culture in general not something I could be a part of

Entrevista
Strange Interview! The interviewers were kind but the interview was unorthodox. They asked questions about my hobbies, my upbringing and my life in ways that felt uncomfortable and inappropriate. When I appeared uncomfortable answering their questions, their tone changed.
