I had my first-round interview with the hiring manager, followed by a second round with the VP and Senior software Engineer - both went well. I was scheduled for a third round interview, but on the day of the interview. I received a message saying they had decided to move forward with another candidate they believed was a better fit. It feels like they may already knows who they wanted to hire. It's tough to get your hopes up and then receive such a disappointing email. It was hard to digest on this step. I really had very high hopes.
Had an interview with the Sr. Director of Client Services. Reached out by email on two separate occasions asking for feedback or next steps. Nothing. There has been no outreach, rejection or any follow up.
Met with each manager of the team I would be working on and conducted a 30 min interview. There were questions about previous place of employment, as well as future goals on how to make this job better.
