The hiring manager called me to set up a interview about two to three weeks after I applied for the position. The interview was conducted with three other candidates and we one at a time met with four different employees within the department. Each employee had a different job title so I was asked many different questions and it wasn't all technical. Most of the questions were about my past experience and education, other questions were about my strengths and weaknesses.

Currently employed at a Raytheon competitior Applied through Rayjobs.com Contacted by recruiter expressing interest in interviewing me 3 days later who left message on voicemail Took 3 weeks for them to return my calls and set up an interview date. On interview day, all interviews were conducted at what appears to be HR offices where the hiring manager(s) visit. Interviewers were Sr. Staff Engineers / Front Line Managers with years of applicable engineering experiance. Questions varied from technical accument to experiance in similar jobs. Questions were professional and experianced, none of the "on-the-spot thinking" games I play when I interview candidates. Their parking lot had a lot of hybrids. This concerns me since the environmentally consious engineers I work with currently are split about 50/50 diesels/hybrids. I saw 1 diesel car in their parking lot and it wasn't in their preferred "High Efficiency/Carpool" parking. From driving around in their parking lot I saw a lot of new cars (more than where I'm at now) which seemed superficial to me. Overall positive interview, and I would accept an offer from them for the right opportunity/compensation plan. I've known many former employees who speak highly of their experiance at Raytheon.
