Entrevista
Contacted by KForce (via Dice?) staffing for multiple levels of opportunities in Windows administration. Given an initial tech assessment by KForce (14 Questions mostly trivial admin stuff). Scheduled for a phone interview with a Rackspace Admin (Level III). Phone interview questions were similar to the initial tech screen but more in depth. Scheduled for an in-person interview at the Rackspace campus in SA.
To prepare for the in-person interview I focused on the topics the Kforce recruiter gave me and the questions I had already been asked - Commands, Networking, AD, DNS, IIS, Ports, Clustering, etc. I had about a week to go through some questions I found on the Internet to brush up on areas that I haven't worked with in a while.
The first hour of the interview was with two Level III Admins. This was the fairly difficult part of the interview because the questions, though some trivial and easy, were more scenario based and your answer(s) were not necessarily right or wrong - they just wanted to see your thought process.
The second hour of the interview was with the team lead and manager of the team. The questions concerned mostly customer service and team/cultural fit. Some of the comments made by the team leader made me wonder about work/life balance because it gave off the impression that the team hung out after work and on the weekends a lot. I was answering questions about LAN Parties and Laser Tag which all sound fun but I don't want to feel like I'm not a team player because I rather be working on my house, fishing/hunting or doing whatever I do with my own friends.
Overall the interview process was very professional and the people I met at Rackspace were really nice. I got to tour the facility and see the new slide they installed between floors. The whole experience of getting to interview at one of the top Tech firms was definitely worth it for me.

Three phone interviews. One on-site. They paid for flight and hotel. ~5 hour interview with 6 people (3 groups of 2). Overall, a fairly painless experience. Amazon was far more taxing. If your going to interview, don't be stressed; it won't be difficult.

I was contacted by a recruiter within 9 hours of applying with my resume. Ended up taking four interviews total.[5 weeks] So if you are browsing here like I was mid-process, HAVE HOPE! Interviews will differ from position to position so make sure and focus on your core-area. They will drill your arsehole in the area which you are applying for(..expectedly) so prep as if it were an exam. However, do not script answers like a door-knob. Nobody likes that.
