Got a phone interview first with recruiter. She asked 10 network-related questions that had a right or wrong answer. They were a nitty-gritty questions (ie. port number of SNMP, types of encryption used over networks, subnetting.)
Next I was offered an in-person interview. Consisted of a technical portion and culture portion. Technical portion was very fair; hiring manager and subordinate asked me conceptual questions about networking. Culture did a personality analysis as well as situational questions.
Got an offer a few days later.

There are two directly-connected switches. Assume that they communicate fine on the physical layer. Why can't two hosts with assigned addresses 192.168.100.5/30 and 192.168.100.50/30 communicate with each other? Also assume that network addresses can be used. How would you remedy this by swapping out only ONE of the devices on the network?

Your interview process will greatly depend on the manager of the team with the open slot. They have full control of this process and they can be completely different. They will most likely ask you technical questions directly related to your role though and they are often well thought out as the Network Security folks are proficient.

They were looking for technical skills as well as personality fit. Interviewers are usually future co-workers who may or may not know much about judging people. Sometimes you get the impression you're dealing with some whose life has been spent playing video games and now is in control of your fate.
