      Candidatei-me online. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Rafter (San Mateo, CA).

      Entrevista

      Phone screen and then next day did first round phone interview with hiring manager. Both the Recruiter and the Hiring Manager said they would contact me for details on the next round of in person once they got through the first round. This was understandable since I believe I was the first person interviewed. I followed up a week later with the Recruiter and never heard back, not an email that said they were still interviewing or even "sorry, we are going with someone else" you might get after you follow up. Basically it was as though they just decided not have closure, yet connected with me on LinkedIn. It was strange. I have interviewed with other companies of similar size who at least had the courtesy to respond after the first round interview. The same week of that interview I had one with a different company about 3 times larger. In one week I did phone screen, first round, and in-person rounds of interview. The recruiter contacted me after the last interview to discuss how it went from my perspective and then heard back the next day. I did not get that position either, but was told such and it was explained to me specifically what I did not have they were looking for. I posted this because the two experiences were so different and Rather seemed to now have a clue how to be professional.
