The overall interview process was extremely unprofessional. This was the first time I considered walking out of an interview. If not for the company name, I would have walked out of the third/final interview.
Interviewer 2 was 30 minutes late. Interviewer 3 was 1 hour late.
Interview 1 was with the team Manager. He was well prepared and had thoughtful questions.
Interview 2 was mainly to check my Japanese language skills. This was conducted by another member of the group. This interview began 30 minutes late.
Interview 3 was scheduled with the director of the division. I was asked to read two books prior to this interview that layout the president's views on work and company culture.
I was not asked ANY questions about the books.
After scheduling for 11am, I was asked to change to 9am. After arriving in the meeting room, I was told they could not find the director. Then I was told she wasn't feeling well and would be late. Someone else was hastily brought in to do the interview instead.
The director did not appear till 10am.
