The first interview with HR was fine; however, that’s when I found out there would be four more interviews afterward. Okay, I thought, I’ll survive it—I even accepted a salary that isn’t very high because I want to relocate to the Czech Republic and the job description sounded great.
Then I got to the second interview with the hiring manager, where I explained that I have over 6 years of experience in strategic procurement, have worked for large corporations, and even have experience related to the Olympic Games—only to receive a message the next day, right before the weekend, saying they are actually looking for someone who would just enter requests into a system, and that I’m not the profile they’re looking for.
This leads me to assume that this might be a scam or a ghost job posting, possibly to mask the company’s difficult financial situation and maintain the appearance of being active in the market. The person who interviewed me has only been in the IT industry for two months and had no prior experience in it.
Overall, I feel something isn’t right with this company, so I would recommend avoiding their job postings.
