Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 1 dia. Fui entrevistado pela Real World Marketing (Scottsdale, AZ) em abr. de 2016
Entrevista
I was contacted hours after I applied by the Media Director to interview the next day. I went in and met with the Media Director, President, Creative Director and one other individual whom I cannot remember their title. They each asked me about my experience with media planning and buying, and then I was offered the job on the spot. They walked me around the office and showed me the working space that would be mine. I was then walked into the President's office where she started drafting my offer letter. I received it within a few hours of the meeting. I responded to the offer email asking for the rest of the week to mull over the offer. I did not hear back that day or the next day, and then two days after I received an email where they rescinded the offer. I was extremely confused, and asked to further discuss that decision. I never heard back. This was extremely upsetting and very unprofessional. I am so glad that I never worked there. What an awful place to work and embarrassing agency!

How do you deal with conflict because you will surely encounter it?
The Real World Management is confused by this post! 1) We currently do not have a position open for a media planner / buyer and have not had an ad placed for this position since the beginning of the year. 2) Our creative director would not be involved in interviewing a media buyer. That responsibility would be left to our 2 media directors and both of them would participate in any media related interview. 3) We thoroughly vette all potential employees before making an offer, including checking references any typically have 2 to 3 in person interviews before an offer is made. 4) I am the president and know for a fact that I did NOT interview any media buyer in April. I was actually traveling on business for the entire month of April and only spent 4 days all month in our office. Additionally, I do not write offer letters. I have an HR department that handles that. And last, salary is always negotiated. Real World looks for A+ team members so we do take our time in the interview process and when we make an offer, we stand by it! Perhaps this person has our company confused with someone else.
