I’ve just had the weirdest experience with a recruitment process. You’d think a company focused on talent attraction would have the candidate experience down to a science, right? Well, not quite!
After one initial chat, I was met with total silence. Watching my follow-up messages get "read" and then ignored was definitely a first. It’s a bit of a bummer, but honestly? I’m happy I’m not joining a culture where that’s considered okay. I mostly just feel bad for their clients, if this is the "attraction" phase, I can’t imagine what the rest of the partnership looks like.

Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). Fui entrevistado pela Recruitics (Lafayette, CA) em jan. de 2021
Entrevista
Pretty standard interview process. It first started with standard recruiter phone screen. Then I had to do a take home Excel test. The interview process ended with hiring manager interview to review Excel test findings and situational interview questions.
Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Recruitics (New York, NY).
Entrevista
Interview process was super straightforward. I applied via their website and heard back from their HR shortly after applying.
After this I had 3 rounds of interviews with the team along with a final interview with the CEO.
The interview's included running through background and experience along with some standard interview questions.
Although the team seemed very nice and the CEO was quite candid about it, I personally felt the recent Glassdoor reviews were a little shocking to read. I did end up getting offered a position but I decided to turn it down.
(Since I interviewed there's been a few 5 star reviews added, maybe they've changed but maybe take it with a pinch of salt)
