The recruiting process is unorganized. Had a phone interview and was asked if I would be interested in an internship instead since I didn't have agency experience and I said yes. They asked me to do a writing assignment beforehand and I submitted it 7 weeks ago and am just now hearing back from them. The rejection email was worded strange and was not straightforward by saying a different role that I didn't apply for had been filled while saying they were still recruiting for the role I had originally applied for even though I was asked to interview as an intern.
As the founder of Red Fan I can tell you we take the interviewing process very seriously. We had over 160 people apply for two positions in a short period of time. We are considerate in our process and while it may be lengthy it's because we hire in a thoughtful manner. We were able to attract and secure the right candidates for these roles. The writing test is a very important indicator of a candidate's abilities and we appreciate all candidates who invest in the time to take the test.
