Fairly short from application to virtual interview, c 2 weeks. Then a virtual interview, never went further than that. From their on the chaos started. Very poor process overall. The job was advertised without salary and at first that wasn't an issue, up to the point where they wanted me to attend that is, after all time and money would be lost taking time off from work and burning fuel to a company that was 45 minutes away. They totally refused to give me any figure at all, flat refusal despite multiple asks. They pestered me several times to give them a time for the 2nd interview and i said as soon as you give me a salary figure we can move to that. Late on a Friday i got another call and said (now wait for this) that they had arranged a time and date (not asked told) I asked again for a salary in writing and this time they said they would send that straight away. No surprise no email was received. On the Monday i called the end employer and they said they had been told by the agency i had cancelled/changed my mind. The REC were informed and investigated the case.

The interview was not with Redline. Redline are a recruitment company and they arranged an interview for me with another company, as recruitment companies do. I attended the interview and did not feel that I had done very well. I phoned Redline afterwards as they wanted feedback, I told them I was not feeling positive. I asked the employee handling my job application to phone the company I had interviewed at and ask for feedback. If the feedback was negative then at least I would have some clue as to what I could improve with my interview skills. He said he would phone and get back to me the next day. After two weeks I have still not heard anything, although someone else at Redline is very enthusiastically emailing me to complete a survey about the interview process. I appreciate I could contact the person again, but I should not have to.
