The assessment day has 3 parts: a case study, an interview, and a group exercise. The interview is split into 2 parts: one based on the case study, the other one is a strength-based interview where they just fire questions at you without giving you any clarification or a chance to ask questions.

Online pre-recorded interview. No human interaction, so was difficult to ensure good eye contact and come across well. Questions weren’t too difficult, but it felt impersonal, and was hard to measure performance.

One of the HR people is a bit arrogant and does not care much, cannot say anything about his/her attitude on this work, and just looks not care. Future interviewees be cautious to chose to practice at the firm, the worst experience in the City,

Proof-reading assessment/case study conducted jointly with the production of a written summary of the facts of that case study and finally followed by an case study interview which then incorporated questions around motivation to join Reed Smith as well as previous relevant experience, together with some general commercial questions.
