I did terribly on this because I got stuck on one part, and had a blank. I won't give the secret away, sorry. Unfortunately the interviewer suggested a different approach that made it more difficult for me (I solved the problem after the interview). That was near the end though so it had already gone badly anyway. The interviewer was very helpful and reassuring apart from that. I wasn't immediately rejected, so they consider your whole performance.
