Candidatei-me online. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Reflexion Health.
Entrevista
I applied online. QA manager contacted me immediately and we spoke on phone for almost half hour. I had to go to Office to meet whole team face to face. Technical team people are very nice and friendly. QA manager is friendly too. Interview questions were not very difficult.
But I received email response next day as they are moving forward with another candidates.

I applied online and received an email response the following day. The QA Lead asked what my salary requirement was. I replied and we scheduled an onsite interview. I took the afternoon off work to interview. I have more than 5yrs experience doing both manual and automation for software, my resume also reflected that. The manager was unprepared and told me that he knew even before bringing me in that I was over qualified and that HR told him not to waste my and his time bringing me in because the position was entry level. When I met with him he said that the role was an entry level position that paid only $15/hr. He then asked me, what was the least I was willing to make.. I said I could not accept this the pay.
After looking at my resume, He didnt ask me any questions. He just kept muttering... "Umm Oh Ok.. Yes you are over qualified..."

Went through a talent agency. Was asked to conduct a take home (2-4 hr code assignment) before hearing much about the company. After that came the in person technical interview where you talk about the code you wrote. Roughly 2 hours on site. Asked to return again to conduct another interview with all the team members/designer, another 2 hours. Heard back the following week they wanted to send me an offer. They knew my salary expectations up front, but still attempted to send a low offer. They also removed equity from the offer at the last minute.
Overall, the pay wasn't competitive with/without equity and was ~15% less than my up front stated expectations. With equity makes it slightly more bearable if you really want a fast paced startup with less structure.
As for the method of technical interview, I thought it was very adult, less about stumping people with some googled interview questions and actually about the code you produced and wether that would fit their style.
