As a candidate, this made the experience feel somewhat disconnected and made it harder to properly assess the role and organisation. Communication and coordination across stages could also have been more streamlined, as the overall timeline felt longer than expected. I was ultimately informed that I had not been selected. Advice to management: Greater direct engagement with internal team members earlier in the process, along with closer oversight of the candidate experience, would help ensure a more efficient and representative hiring process.
