Similar experience as the person before. CEO messages on LinkedIn to schedule an interview less than 24 hrs after I applied. I had to wake up early to check if there was an interview scheduled. Didn't have time to prepare because it was scheduled overnight and the interview was in early afternoon. Couldn't find their name on any projects they mentioned in the job description. (Seemed sketchy at first)
Interview was over a video call with 4 interviewers(?). Only 3 of them actually spoke. Interview became awkward really quick, interviewers had as much energy and enthusiasm as a brick. Felt like they wanted to end it fast-didn't want to get to know me and I suspect they didn't read my resume at all. This made me feel really anxious and uncomfortable. So, I fumbled in my words and ended up not giving apt answers as much as I wanted to. They pretty much asked only 2 questions and I ended asking more relevant questions than they asked in the entire interview. Felt like I was splitting hairs.
I was told I would hear from them within a day or two but ended up getting ghosted - even when trying to follow up after the interview. Didn't know they moved forward with other candidates until I saw a LinkedIn post of the same job. Never heard anything back from any of those individuals.
