First, a quick call with the hiring manager or so-called , just to go over experience and interests. At the end of the call I was told they d like to move forward with next step which consist of a technical assignment . The challenge was interesting, and was given 5 days to return it, I took this challenge seriously and as a way to improve my skills in real scenario and tried to deliver a complete yet not perfect solution, including research, documentation and opinions. However few days after I submitted my assignment, I received a generic message that I was not selected. Nothing else. Usually, a good company and a good recruiter would follow up with the opportunity to explain your assignment. Or at least provide some feedback . This is the least they should have done considering applicants spend times and efforts in that. This felt disrespectful from this company and I m not sad to not be working there after all.
