The interview process was informal and unstructured. I don't particularly have a problem with that approach, but I do understand the information collected from such interviews are very limited and somewhat superficial.
What bugged me the most is that when I asked questions, they weren't sure about ANYTHING. They couldn't answer any of my questions relating to the job itself. They didn't know schedule, according to what their story. They didn't know starting dates. They just knew they thought I'd be good for the job. They couldn't even tell me the name of the company, which I completely understand.
Once they were somewhat decided on me as a candidate, I asked for the name of the company and explained that I wanted to investigate about their culture and how they treat their employees. They never responded. I found out later on this job was for a warehouse that was open 24/7, which was the main reason why they didn't disclose it upfront.
I found this very shady and dishonest and do not plan to apply for jobs at this company.
