I had two rounds of interviews with Reply AG, the first one was with a HR and the second round was a telephone interview with a manager. The first round was very pleasant experience and the HR evaluated my profile, experience and my German language skills. As I had pointed out in my resume, I was not fluent in German, the HR understood it and kept switching between English and German to make me comfortable. The experience of the second telephone interview with the manager was exact opposite to the first round. As soon as the Manager got to know that I cannot speak German fluently, she was not interested in my answers anymore. She was rude, sarcastic and kept countering my answers. It is okay to reject candidates based on language skills, but it has to be done in a professional way. The interview was supposed to be a technical interview, but not even one question was asked on my tech skills. Totally disappointing experience. Then they rejected my application after 2 months.
