Comprised of four rounds - Video call w/ Recruiter, Hiring Manager, Panel w/Team Members, then Presentation,
I went on to the second round w/ hiring manager. RECRUITER WAS PHENOMENAL. Communicative, helpful and honest. Hiring Manager interview was not so great. She was 4 minutes late, showed up in sweats, advised she was in a rush and only had 26 minutes to interview as well as YAWNED two times during the conversation. I was excited about the company initially but felt very disregarded and a clear lack of interest from the hiring manager from the onset of the call. It started with beginning the call late then advising I did not have any additional time available as well as, her attire and yawning. It came across as if the role was already spoken for and she was just going through the motions. I did not send a typical follow up thank you email as I really sat and considered would I be okay working under a manager/leader who didn't respect my time or care about their impression. I received a rejection email a couple of days later but even in this job market, I'm not to sure I'm upset about it - considering that would have been my leader. Lastly, they advertise diversity and inclusion as an integral part of their mission. I perused their LinkedIn people and did not see one POC. That to was also food for thought for me.
