Position advertised in newspaper--submitted resume by fax, as requested. Was invited to first interview after a week. Interview was with executive director. General questions about experience and a tour of facility. There was a great emphasis on the type of service that the clinic offers, and my level of comfort with the services offered. I followed up with a thank you email and was invited back to "job shadow". Spent 2 hours observing the office staff and procedures. Front office staff (patient advocates/clerical) is a 2-3 person team. Very friendly. Business casual dress code. Office seems dated, but director expressed that the facility is currently undergoing some changes.
Expressed my interest in the position. Followed up with another thank you email. Received an email stating that I had not been selected for the position.
