The ad said to apply in person. Hopped right over there to apply. I had spent about $5000.00 at Republic getting some work done on my bike so I already knew the place pretty well. I Filled out the employment Application and was told to wait. The GM came by and said he wanted to talk to me right after I got done with the application...I waited...and waited...and waited some more. I waited for over an hour and no one came to talk to me. Employees were walking past me and no one even bothered to say "hello" or "how are you?" nothing... I ended up walking out after an hour and a half. I politely let the receptionist know that I was available the next day if they were interested in talking to me. I even went back down there the next day just to see if they wanted to talk to me. I have 20 years of HR experience, have ridden Harley's for years and at one time in my life I even sold Harley's. I got lucky and was able to retire early. I thought it would be a good match for someone who knows HR, Knows H-D products, and was just looking for a position to keep the boredom away. I didn't even care about the money. That experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that I won't even shop there anymore. I ride down to Goe H-D in Angleton now.
