Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Republic Services (Portland, OR) em jan. de 2012
Entrevista
The interview consisted of a phone interview, face to face with the HR manager, and face to face with the division VP. The process was very drawn out and took 2-5 days to receive a response in between phases. The HR manager gave several details of what they were looking for, but when I asked what the typical workweek was they stalled. Instead, they talked about how some days they work 16 hours and some they work 8, it just depends on the workload. The VP was more interested in what municipal or small business contacts I had that they could buy. It seemed like another level of sales (I am sure it was) and a heavily managed position. They didn't ask any atypical interview questions and mostly were curious if I could sell.

This is a lengthy process that involves several stages, each designed to thoroughly evaluate the candidate's qualifications and fit for the organization. It typically begins with an initial screening interview conducted by a recruiter or HR representative to assess basic qualifications and cultural fit. Following this, candidates proceed to interviews with various department heads and team leaders, where they are evaluated on their technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and relevant experience. As candidates advance, they engage in more in-depth discussions with senior executives, culminating in a final interview with the CEO. This comprehensive approach ensures that candidates are assessed from multiple perspectives within the leadership hierarchy, providing a well-rounded evaluation of their potential contributions to the company.

30 minute phone call with HR rep. Two 45 minute interviews second round with current general managers and regional managers. Standard background questions in the first round. Mostly behavioral questions in the second round. A lot of time for candidate to ask questions at the end.
