Applied online. A few days later I got an email from a recruiter to set up a phone call and speak to her about my experiences and projects.
Couple more days after that, I had a Google Voice meeting with one of the lead devs. Questions like, "What is DEP", and "What is a buffer overflow" were asked. I was told that for someone right out of university I did pretty well on these questions.
The next day I get an email from the recruiter giving me the usual paradox for entry-level positions. You need the experience to gain experience. I guess that whole page on your site about mentorship is just there to look pretty and doesn't hold any real value, huh?
"They wouldn't schedule you for the full panel if they felt you were too jr to be successful." - The recruiter in an email to me.
