Applied online through LinkedIn. Interviewed with a recruiter. She said she would ask me questions then put her phone on mute so she could type without the noise of the keyboard interfering. I thought it was odd, but didn't think twice about it. I thought the interview went well, but she completely ghosted me - she didn't respond to follow-up emails in any way, and didn't even send a form letter rejection. Now I wonder if she put her phone on mute during the interview because she really wasn't interested and was just multitasking. I'm fine with not being chosen, but everyone deserves at least the courtesy of a professional response.

Screening call (from overseas), 3 rounds, with raising seniority. No psych test. No reference check. Some interviewers very engaged, some not at all. Personal preference seemed to count above all.
