Went through one round of a phone screen with HR, then three video interviews with hiring managers. there were two open roles and they interviewed me for each. After the fourth round, they decided to go with internal candidates for both. Should have just asked if there were internal candidates and just declined any interviews, since obviously that is who they wanted to hire in the first place and the ongoing interviews were just for show wasting my time.

How comfortable are you with providing negative feedback to an employee?

Changed the interview duration to 30mins, online without any heads up, applied a whole day leave as initially a minimum of 1.5 hour was set. Didn’t have much chances to present and the interviewers showing no interest at all indicating I have no direct industry experience, rushing to call it off. If this is a concern, would it be better not calling for an interview at the first place, wasting time my time.
