I made it to the first round of interviews which was a written screening activity that included a number of questions. The organization also offered me a small amount of financial compensation for the time I spent answering the questions, which I thought was commendable and had never seen before.

I didn't actually make it to the interview stage, but I got an email asking me to complete an exercise before advancing to the interview. This was soon followed by an email apologizing for falsely informing me that I was being considered. They were kind and offered me feedback on my resume and cover letter, encouraging me to apply for a position I was more qualified for later on.
When I applied to the recommended position months later, I was sent the incorrect email link for a Zoom info session on the jobs they were hiring for and despite sending multiple emails to the contact for that job re: technical difficulties and expressing interest in the job, I never got any replies.

There was an email scenario exercise (that offered an honorarium of $50 to compensate applicants for their time) that gave information about a retreat and asked:
1) How would you approach agenda building, prior to the retreat? (250 words max)
2) Please share a draft agenda outline for the retreat (bullet points fine).

After submitting a cover letter and resume, there was a written prompt that acted as a first round screen before an interview by 3 staff members over Zoom video call.
