Applied with my CV through university website, within 4 days I was contacted and asked if I wanted to attend their assessment day in Switzerland in the next week. During "assessment day" the first activity was a business game which was very straightforward and quite fun. Contrary to another review here, you don't get through to the next stage based on your group's performance, it's solely on your individual performance and how you go about playing the game and involving members from your group. At the end of the business game, several people were turned away at this stage. The rest of us proceeded to the next stage - analytical and cultural interviews. I had my analytical interview first which entailed several CV orientated questions and a few quite difficult why RBI-type questions and then a mathematical question to complete with no calculator - question was quite difficult considering the pressure and interviewer watching you. Best approach to this interview if struggling with the maths is to talk through what you would do and explain methodology. Next up (straight away) was the cultural interview. This was to test how well you would fit into the company's culture. Very laid back interview and questions just general competency based i.e. "tell me about a time where you displayed leadership". Once cultural interview completed, you were allowed to leave and you would be sent an email to notify you whether you got through to the next stage - Panel interview. The panel interviews started at around 10am the next day, we were split into two groups and told which room our interview would be. The panels consisted of three members of the leadership team, a member of HR and 6 other candidates. The interview lasted 30 minutes and the leadership team gave specific questions to individuals, e.g. "sell this bottle of Coke", "if I gave you $1m how would you use it" etc. These questions were much more difficult than the previous day and I expect they were to put you under pressure and see how you behaved under the stress. After panels we were told that we then had to have a 5-10 minute conversation with the President of BK EMEA which was very informal and he just asked about university life and aspirations for the future as well as why RBI.
