Had an initial screening interview with their Operations Coordinator and several things didn't line up. She wasn't familiar with my resume, cover letter, or previous direct communication where I shared details about my experience. The JD indicated certain certifications were "Nice to haves" but then during the interview it was revealed the certifications were "prerequisites" to getting hired. Lastly, I was told I would be getting an email with the list of exact certifications I needed to get the job, but otherwise was an excellent candidate and would be moving on to the next round. I got a rejection email the next day.
