I applied through indeed and received an email a week or so later to invite me for an on-site interview. It was a brief interview with CEO. We mostly talked about the company and expected benefits and duties of the position. The interview ended with a lab tour.

Applied online by emailing a resume and cover letter responding to an online ad. Got an email response and set up an in-person interview for a few days later. Interviewed directly with the owner/president/CEO. Short and easy interview. Then got a tour of the lab and briefly talked to some employees.
