It first started with a phone screening call, and followed by a half an hour technical test, the test isn't hard. I have managed to go through to the final face-to-face interview round. But sadly the HR offers a lower salary than I expected. It would have been helpful to have known earlier in the process that they do not offer a bonus structure or stock options. This information would have allowed me to manage my expectations better. Moreover, I was disappointed by the perception that my experience did not justify the salary range I initially requested. Considering the time and effort I invested in the application process, I find it unfortunate that the offer cannot be renegotiated. It's important for candidates to feel valued and appreciated, even when compensation expectations may not align perfectly. Transparent and respectful communication throughout the negotiation process would have made a significant difference.
