The interview was nice and relaxed. There was a large group of us, and the staff members were friendly and welcoming. The group interview (or recruitment event) allowed us to communicate and get to know each other. We all felt comfortable after a couple of minutes and the tasks we were asked to do were enjoyable after being welcomed so nicely. Now what I didn't like, was that I was the only 20 year old (or adult, initially) there. Everyone else was just about to start college having just left school. I immediately got the impression I was the oldest there, and that they were looking to hire someone younger than I. They obviously wanted to employ someone they can pay a lower minimum wage to. - this made me angry, I'm used to being rejected, but I felt left out and a complete waste of time. I was just there for a diverse age range of people (even though that was hardly achieved).

Pretty simple, wanted to know about availability, any previous experience within the retail industry and what about the company I knew about. Had some basic experience questions that the star technique comes in handy for!
