It was strange. First, everybody on the presentation was told that the CE Lead position was not going to be hired through the process that we applied to (that it will be done differently) and that we can be a part of the core team. (the only job post that was put online for the Customer Engagement team was the main Lead role, no other roles regarding that team were advertised) Then, after the test which was oriented towards the specialist core team job role, when I arrived for the interview I was told that I am in fact there for the CE Lead position interview and not the specialist interview. I got a follow up call afterwards that I was very much liked by the interviewing officials from the upper management and that even though I did not get accepted for the Lead or TL roles, I did get accepted for the core team/specialist role and that we shall fortify some points the following week. (mentioned relevant details such as salary, start date etc.) Then, all of a sudden, now there's change as my seniority history and experience doesn't align with the entry level specialist core team role/responsibilities and pay, as it's too low. Also a mix of "There will be more mid-senior roles available in then next few months", paradoxically alongside "We're not sure if we will have any mid-senior roles available soon". I mean, it's clear that they we re working things out as they were going and I can understand certain things being of a flexible nature and complexities as it's a new office & teams are brought up, but this wasn't alright in my opinion. Not the best handled hiring process. I can say that the hiring manager was super pleasant and friendly although ultimately the rest mentioned ruined the experience for me.
