The interview process was very straightforward. First round was a behavioral interview with the HR Recruiter followed by a hiring manager behavioral interview then a technical with individual team members where they tested typical BI skills.
I made it to the final round, but was given a technical interview around SQL and Python with no warning. The job description did not include programming AT ALL, so it was quite baffling. The interviewer that conducted the technical test was clearly inexperienced in providing interviews and was on a power trip. They seemed to enjoy criticizing my solutions without trying to be understanding of the circumstances around complex and nuanced issues I have encountered in my career... this went on for an hour.
Furthermore, I have passed technical interviews with Google, Meta, Stripe, and LinkedIn, so I know when a technical interview is too difficult. The interviewer clearly was trying to eliminate me which made the investment of hours in this process such a waste of time.
It's truly unfortunately, because I loved the branding, and alleged culture ( and was willing to take a salary cut) to be part of this team.
All others were warm, friendly and I would have enjoyed working with them except for this individual.
