I applied for the role online and received an email to interview about 10 days later. I had missed the first interview reach out because it had gone to my spam folder, and I was appreciative that the recruiting coordinator reached out directly to follow up. My interviews were scheduled very quickly after I submitted availability, but there was a lot of time in between stages (e.g. phone screen took place almost two weeks after I submitted my availability).
I had a 45 minute phone call with the hiring manager; we walked through my background and the role in depth, and she asked me the types of questions you'd expect in an initial call. It was a solid conversation.
I received an invitation to interview on-site less than 24 hours after my phone screen, and my interview was scheduled for 2 weeks later. I had a prep call with the recruiter before my on-site interview, which was helpful.
The company flew me to Menlo Park, and I met with the team in their office. Everyone was incredibly genuine, kind, welcoming, and I enjoyed all of my conversations. Interviewers were prepared and had focused interview component areas.
I was notified a few days after my on-site visit that they were not moving forward with me. I was disappointed, but understood the decision.
Overall, incredible candidate experience.
