Recently gave interview in roblox for senior dev position. Interview process for roblox is very unique and very foolish. They have 8 interviews and for remote candidate all happens in one day. usually interview has theme coding, design and behaviors and each interview is 60 mins so that interviewer can come and judge each area. In roblox interview every interview is behavior inteview. Each time one interviewer will come and ask same question – why you want to join roblox and about your current company and this will take 15 minutes . so overall 15*8 ~ 120 minutes spend on this and it is really annoying to tell same thing 8 times. Instead of that they can have one interview which judges this and rest of them focus on other areas. Interview questions were not very difficult but. What is the point of having 8 same interviews is just ridiculous. I won’t recommended someone to waste the time with this company weird interview process.
