Phone screening + 48h take-home design challenge + 2:1 interview
I was out of my depth during the 2:1 interview, so no offer, fair enough.
But the ghosting that followed is just rude / lazy from their HR department. After a couple of weeks of me asking for feedback, just got read out loud the std ‘we choose to proceed with other candidates’ template.

Did an initial interview with the hiring manager (Engineer Manager) that was just a "tell me about yourself" and "what do you know about Rocket Lab"?
Was told that I'd hear back in a week on scheduling the 2nd round but that never happened unfortunately.

Do not trust the recruiters. There is a complete lack of transparency from the Rocket Lab recruiters, who seem to take pride in presenting themselves as open and honest while failing to provide clear or accurate information or status of the interview process.
Straightforward no non sense interview process with normal people looking to make sure you are qualified. Enjoyable, but definitely there to make sure you know what you're talking about, which makes it challenging.
