This is what happened during your interview process and is why you were offered a lower level role than you expected. It is also worth saying that this is not about cost savings as the average time to promote at Rokt is less than 12 months, but it is done to ensure that candidates have the right expectations and time so that they can succeed. Separately, there were some changes to the team recruiting this role during the process which would have created the delay in responding. Also having an agency that had not had a lot of experience filling this type of role also creates some communication challenges.
