Applied for a Senior Android role. The early stages went well, with positive feedback, and I progressed toward a panel. The proposed schedule was very demanding, expecting several virtual rounds plus an in-person Manchester onsite within a short window while I was still in another role. In mid-May the recruiter re-engaged via LinkedIn about a different role. We discussed and agreed terms including salary, and I confirmed full availability and flexibility on dates, including being willing to travel to Manchester and do the remaining interviews remotely. I was told next steps would be arranged with the team. I then followed up politely to ask about scheduling and received no response at all. The interviews were never arranged and there was no closure. The individuals were polite, but the overall communication was inconsistent and the process felt disorganised, especially being left without any reply after terms had already been agreed.
