There was one coding assessment on HackerRank and then a phone interview. The guy went straight into technical questions before even asking anything about my background or skills. He wanted me to explain him in detail how the internet works like HTTP, transfer protocols, even things like how dns and nap server works. Then he asked me OS questions. The job description mentioned mostly about react and front end stuff but he didn’t ask me a single question about it. Then he started talking about how this is the first time they are hiring interns and everybody is so smart and even he himself needs to keep up with them. Im grateful for being rejected. Wouldn’t wanna work in a toxic culture anyway. Read more about their culture on their website. All they talk about is ability, experience, talent and “nerds”. Not once do they talk about inclusivity, diversity, growth.
