We then sat the numerical reasoning psychometric test. It was exactly the same as the online test during the application form, only on paper not computer. We then did a 10min presentation to the assessors on why we should be hired by RR for the job. You need to be slick, RR pride themselves on presentation and how they come across, so you need to exude confidence (but don't be arrogant). This was combined with the competency interview. Then there was a lot of waiting around. This gives you a chance to get to know other candidates. Useful for the group exercise which was next. We had to design a bridge to transport a marble and table tennis ball to the other side of the table. The activity/result isn't the focus, but your ability to influence the team and work with them is. Finally, the dreaded technical interview - they literally ask about anything you've learnt throughout your degree, but they first ask you about your interests and your strengths, and then tailor the questions to them.
