I scheduled a phone interview. Once the time for the interview comes, I do not receive a call and I almost thought that maybe I had gotten the time wrong. He calls 10 minutes late, and I let it go straight to voicemail. Even in the voice mail, I hear background noise of people talking. While I understand working remote has it’s own challenges, it still came off a bit unprofessional. This company already has reviews of a toxic company culture. And the fact that my interviewer couldn’t be bothered to call me on time doesn’t help their case. I am no longer interested in working for the company.
