The interview was through a phone call with several basic probability and statistical questions. The questions were not hard at all, but you have to be very familiar with that basic stuff.

What is Central Limit Theorem? How to use it in practice
Overall extremely negative experience. The recruiter told me I didn’t need to prepare anything specific for the call, and began the call, late, with detailed technical questions that I don’t think they understood. At the end of the interview they communicated I’d move on to the next round. I provided my availability, as requested, and I was ghosted.
This is a parade of red flags. Look for other opportunities. Skip this company.

it was a 30-minute phone screen with a senior data scientist. no background questions but quite a few technical questions (topics including stats, ML, case study related to their product, etc.)
